JAT decided to show black flag to Queen's Baton Relay

Members of Ellenabad chapter of All India Jat Mahasabha(AIJM) gathered at Chopta town to fuel up the quota stir for Jats. Heavy force was deployed in the region as a precautionary measures to deal with any untoward incident. Administration observed holiday in  educational institutes and banks in wake of the gathering. Addressing the gathering, Anil Kashniya, youth district of AIJM said "To press their demand in a proper manner, Jat Sangrash Samiti has been instituted which has decided to show black flag to Queen's Baton Relay in the district on 26, 27 september". Newly formed Sangrash Samiti has also called on 'Chhaka Jam' for three hours(9am to 12noon) 21 september in the entire state. "To press the demand of quota in central as well in Haryana state, members of the community would take part in gathering on 30 september in New-Delhi," said a Jat leader. OP Maan, president of AIJM told Hindustan Times on phone "No violent methods would be adopted by the Jat Sangrash Samiti to press the demand of reservation quota in state and at central level. We follow Gandhian way to lay our demand in front of the state government".  While advocating peaceful demonstration as the only way that can bring expected results, he condemned the violence erupted in Maayar village of Hisar during.

Bad Roads become trouble for FARMERS

Distressed over pathetic condition of roads and worried over how the farmers are going to transport their crops to Sirsa anaz mandi. Worried farmers of Rangri, Choburja, Sheedawali, Natar, Dhingtania, Modia and Begu village gathered here and gave a three days ultimatum to district administration for repairing the roads. Farmers rued that their produce will be ready in next ten days and rains have washed away all the connecting link roads to Sirsa. A farmer said "Incessant rain has caused heavy damage to the roads and its next to impossible to bring the produce on four wheelers due to presence of large size potholes and uneven size of roads". A group of farmers also met Municipal Council vice president Lila Dhar Saini and demanded repair of roads within three days. Protesters also threatened that if their demands were not met then they would not only surround concerned department officials but also oppose proposed Queen's Baton Relay on 26 September in the district.

Sept, 15 Sirsa | Working on the orders of Haryana and Punjab High court to protect runaway couples, the district police, in an effort to minimise the honor killing incidents, has earmarked suitable protection house here today. District police and officials of Deputy Commissioner's office had finalised the ground floor of Working women hostel behind old DC office as protection house for such couples. Police spokesperson, Surjit Saharan said that the venue has been finalised after examining its suitability from all angles. The same has been certified by Deputy Commissioner as the protection house for runaway couples. The police security would be stepped inside the house, Saharan said.

Sept, 15 Sirsa | A sub-divisional-officer had to face ire of agitating residents of Agersen colony over blockage of sewarge system for a long time here on wednesday. Protesters pushed the officer into the accumlated sewarge water inside the colony, who came to hear the greivences of the residents after they blocked main road leading of the colony.

According to information, irked over the pathetic state of sewarge system in the locality, residents today staged a protest against health department. It led to traffic jam at the spot. Amit Goyal, who was among the protesters told that "Sewarge pipes are leaking and it is getting mixed with drinking water, which means invitation to several diseases. The health department has not taking appropriate action despite several complaints". Upon getting information, SDO Tarun Garg reached the spot, and started addressing the  issues and tried to pacify the matter. Some unsatisfied protesters allegedly threw the officer into the sewarge water. The said officer said "The incident would be brought into the notice of higher authorities and a complaint would be registered against the defaulters". He also agreed that the problem of sewarge blockage is pending for a long time.

JATS RESERVATION DEMAND GIVE JITTERS TO STATE GOVERNMENT

 To press the demand of Jat reservation quota in the government services and to protest the killing of  Sunil Kumar(20) in police firing at Mayyar village in Hisar district during a protest by members of Jat community on monday. The Indian National Lok Dal student's wing INSO had organised a protest and shouted anti-police slogans opposite main bus stand here today. INSO led by its district president Yogesh Sharma demanded arrest of Hisar SP Subhash Yadav with immediate affect and compensation of Rs.31 lakh to the bereaved family of Sunil Kumar, who died in police firing at Mayyar village during the protest. A police official said, heavy police force was deployed to avert any untoward incident. SDM SK Jain and ASP Sajjan Singh took stock of situation and pacify the angry protesters. The protesters dispersed peacefully after the administrative intervention. At the same time, the government polytechnic students under the banner of All India Jat Mahasabha led by youth district president Anil Kashnia burnt the effigy of Chief Minister BS Hooda and demanded immidiate arrest of accused SP and police personell in recent Mayyar village incident. All the trains and buses which pass through Hisar have been cancelled in the wake of law and order situation in the state.
In the meanwhile at Fatehabad, some protesters, who gathered on Fatehabad-Bhuna highway reportedly snatched and torn away the signature sheets and stationary related to board examination in Jandali village. As  per information, Naveen Sharma was heading towards Bhuna when agitators used force on  him. Gorakhpur-Agroha road was also blocked by protesters from Gorakhpur village under Bhuna police jurisdiction. Members of Jat community chopped off trees to maintain blockade.
At the same time in Fatehabad, villagers from Semana village, Bitmara, Dangra, Kanheri and Bhimwala village blocked the roads on Tohana-Hisar road. Due to road blockage, the public and private transport services were disrupted in all directions of the district.  Members of Jat community led by Adv. Ravinder Godhara has also give a call of close down in Bhuttu anaz mandi.
